GMP 1/18 - Ferrari 512S #6 Targa Florio The Ferrari 512S was the first of their 5.0 litre sports cars and the epitome of race car design in 1970. With this car, Ferrari had very high hopes for the season with designs on winning the World Sports Car Championship. It turned out to be a VERY tightly contested season with fantastic battles between Ferrari and Porsche. This first release in the GMP Ferrari 512 series is the car in which Nino Vaccarella and Iganzio Giunti contested the 1970 Targa Florio. While greatly overpowered for the extremely tight and twisting course, they provided for one of the most exciting battles of the season finishing a very respectable third.
